Thursday, January 23 marks the formal opening of a showing of 18 calligraphic paintings to be displayed in the Schwab Gallery at the Penn State Harrisburg Library through May, 2014. It’s hard to believe it’s been two years since Adrienne Cooper’s passing and a year since the first remarkable concert in Manhattan that honored her legacy.  On Saturday night, December 21 at the Ukrainian National Home in New York City, I will again have the delight of sharing the stage with some of the cutting-edge performers on the Yiddish stage as we inaugurate the Cooper Fund for Yiddish Culture by honoring Dreamer and Visionary Jenny Romaine for her work.
