A congregation in Caldwell, New Jersey honored their Cantor and his wife after years of service by quoting Torah and enumerating the gifts they’d given to the synagogue.

Rather than dip a pen in ink or paint, I brush dabs of color onto the back of the pen nib with a small brush before the pen runs dry.  This allows color to mix as the pen moves across the paper, which produces a smooth transition and a rainbow effect in connected writing.  This very simple design, laid out to work within a circle, has tiny raised dots of gold leaf which make the whole image ‘pop’!
