MacIntosh Ketubah

A color palette limited to copper, red, blue and black is the perfect compliment to the designs inspired by the early 20th Century artist Charles Rennie MacIntosh.   This custom ketubah, even in its simplicity acknowledges the family backgrounds and aesthetic sensibilities of the couple.   Not every tiny cut square is backed with color, and the manner in which the piece is assembled allows the depth of those blank squares to create a play of light and shadow over the piece.   This ketubah was commissioned in 2011.
